Changing an Event Code
When you create a new event, a unique random code is created for that event that your caregivers will need to book their interviews.
If you prefer to use a different event code, as an administrator you can edit the event and change the code. The new code must be made up of 5-10 letters and numbers, and cannot be used if it belongs to another event.
The event code will also be shown in uppercase, so we recommend avoiding ambiguous characters to avoid confusion (such as the letter O and the number 0, or the letter I and the number 1)
- Navigate to the Events section.
- Click on the name of the event you'd like to change.
- Click on Change Event Code on the right-hand side of the page.
- Enter a new event code, and click Update Event Code.
Changing the event code takes immediate effect, and will prevent caregivers from using the old event code. We recommend only changing the event code if your event hasn't been publicized, or the incorrect code was sent to caregivers.
There is no guarantee that you'll be able to revert back to your old event code, as another event will be free to claim it.
